When can I use VSCO Studio on web?

VSCO Studio on web is now available for all Pro Members at https://studio.vsco.co

Why can’t I access all of my presets and editing tools inside VSCO Studio on web as a Plus Membership subscriber?

As a Plus Membership subscriber, you have limited access to the presets, storage, and editing tools while using VSCO Studio on web.

What features are included?

Desktop editing with 200+ presets, our most essential tools which include exposure, contrast, saturation, white balance (temperature/tint), fade and skin tone, export full resolution images, upload images which can be accessed from any browser (Chrome/Safari), copy / paste edits, and much more.

We are constantly releasing new features and  you should see many new updates over the coming months.

Can you edit videos?

Video editing is not available at this time.

Which browsers and operating systems are supported?

Currently, we support Chrome/Safari on macOS and Chrome/Edge on Windows. Please make sure you’re using the most updated versions to ensure the best experience.

What if I found a bug?

Please click on the feedback icon in the bottom right corner of VSCO Studio to report any bugs you find. Known bugs can be found here.

Will I be able to use the VSCO Studio on the web on a tablet?

This is currently in development and is still to be determined when tablet (iPad/Android tablets) compatibility will be available.

Will VSCO Studio on web have the exact same functionality as iOS and Android?

We are working to make sure the experience of editing with VSCO Studio on web is similar and seamless with the iOS and Android mobile apps. VSCO Studio on web is designed for larger screens and as such will have unique features that enable more professional workflows.

With this in mind, we will continuously introduce more presets, more tools, and many new desktop centric features for VSCO Studio on web!

What type of file(s) can you import?

On Chrome and Edge, you can import JPEG, PNG, BMP files. On Safari you can import JPEG and HEIC files.

Why is it taking so long for my images to upload?

Upload times may vary depending on your internet connection. Try running a speed test to see what your upload speed is. If it’s less than 10 Mbps, we recommend to try uploading on a faster internet connection or only uploading 1 image at a time rather than multiple images at once.

Are images that I upload public or private?

Private, only you can see them when you are signed in.

Does this mean VSCO Film presets for Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop are coming back?

At this time, VSCO Film presets are not coming back. This is a legacy product that we discontinued many years ago. We updated our film emulation process with what we now call Film X. This is a superior technology to our older VSCO Film presets. Read more about the Film X process here.

I'm running into some performance issues.

You can try clearing your studio.vsco.co application data (Chrome & Safari) to help with issues like importing and exporting. Please take a look at this article.

Is a batch editing feature available?

Yes, batch editing is an available feature. Please take a look at this article.

Seeing some "edits are not visible" message in the VSCO Studio on web.

This message means that if you edit with tools such as HSL, Grain in VSCO mobile and sync your image to VSCO Studio on web, those tool edits will not render on the image on web because the tools are not yet available on web. You can "flatten" an image inside iOS to start editing that photo inside VSCO Studio on web. article.

Is there a way to compare your current edits to the original photo?

There is a "show original image" function within the Settings>Keyboard Shortcuts. Select the image and open the image in the editor view, then use the keyboard shortcut for "show original image."

I'm seeing a "Permission Denied" error message when signing into vsco.co.

Please check your browser site permissions to see if you're using strict permissions and ad-blockers. Article.

Can studio.vsco.co be added as a web app (PWA) on my computer?

I'm seeing blank thumbnails after importing images inside studio.vsco.co.

VSCO Studio on the Web supports Safari 16.6 or later and Chrome. Your experience may be limited in other browsers. Article.
